For wooded walks, long pants are recommended to prevent tick bites. Sturdy shoes or hiking boots that can get wet are recommended. Avoid wearing black; it’s harder to see ticks on dark colors.

What you bring in with you, you must take out with you. Trash bins are not available at most locations. You may want to bring drinking water, a hat, sunscreen and bug spray. A camera or cell phone camera is a great way to record your trip. Keeping everything in a backpack is ideal.

Most adventures will be postponed if it is rainy, but not sprinkling. An alternate date will be given, but if you can’t make it, refunds are available.

Each adventure includes directions for how to get to the location where you will meet your guide. Because of the coronavirus, you must find your own transportation. Every location has free parking, though some of the parking is limited.

Most of the areas that we go to in the Cape Cod National Seashore allow dogs on a leash. Each adventure specifies whether dogs are allowed.
