Painting Provincetown

Join the artist Tom Acone in a four-hour painting session!

Drawn by the light, artists descended on the Outer Cape at the turn of the 20th Century and, with it, Provincetown became America’s first arts colony.
See Provincetown through their eyes by joining the artist Tom Acone in a four-hour painting session. Tom will provide everything you need—easel, paints, brushes and canvas and supportive advice—to create your own work. Meet the artist at the Red Inn, near where the Pilgrims landed, where you’ll follow in the tradition of Charles Hawthorne, Robert Motherwell and the many other renowned artists who painted Provincetown. If you don’t finish, no worries, you can take your paint and brushes home along with your original Provincetown painting.

All, younger than 12 must paint with an adult.

The Red Inn, 15 Commercial St., Provincetown; parking lot across the road.

Space is limited. Please call (774) 722-2389 or email [email protected] for information and reservations.
